Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the PrepOK website at prepok.com ("PrepOK", "we", "us", "our"), operated by QuantumLoops Technologies. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@prepok.com.
Information we collect
PrepOK has no logins, no user accounts, and no checkout. We collect very little:
- Information you choose to give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to improve PrepOK.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our providers collect standard usage data through cookies and similar technologies: pages you view, the site you came from, your device and browser type, general (city or country level) location inferred from your IP address, and how you interact with our interactives. This is used in aggregate to understand and improve the site.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. PrepOK uses two kinds: analytics cookies (to measure usage) and advertising cookies (to show and, where permitted, personalize ads). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; some site features may work differently without them. Where required (for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we ask for your consent through a cookie banner before non-essential cookies are set.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which lessons are useful and how the site performs. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy, and you can opt out across all sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
PrepOK is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. To keep the site free, we display advertising on our lesson and reference pages (never inside the embeddable widgets on other people's sites). Some key points:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to PrepOK and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.

Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. Under the GDPR (EEA/UK) these include the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Under the CCPA/CPRA (California) they include the right to know, to delete, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. To exercise any right, email us at support@prepok.com, and use the ad and cookie controls above. We honour recognized browser signals such as Global Privacy Control where applicable.
Children's privacy
PrepOK is intended for teachers, parents, and students, and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@prepok.com and we will delete it.
Service providers and third parties
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run PrepOK, including Google (Analytics and AdSense) and Vercel (website hosting and content delivery). These providers may process data in countries other than your own; where that happens, appropriate safeguards apply. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and security
Analytics data is retained according to our provider's settings, and emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Our lessons cite and link to external sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
